My granddaughter & her family live in the Seattle area, so I pay
attention to the weather stories from out that way - and my sis lives near Salem in Oregon and has a few goats and chickens to tend, so weather's a big deal for her as well. Makes me glad I sent them some of my crocheted hats & scarves. Wishing you safe travels and a wonderful visit.

I read this advice for Elders: Spend your money! And I realized the best thing I can spend it on for myself is memories of places in the world I've never been, and someday will not be so able to visit. So, yes, it will be a great year for adventures! I have my eye on Australia for next fall.
