- Go to Only Thursday...?
Ciel - Yes, you're right, I think. We only flew in and flew out, it seemed.
No, I didn't get to do that, unfortunately, and only got a peek here and there around town. I think we made it to Denver to a steak house for dinner one night. Other than that, our time was structured. There were awesome scheduled events the entire weekend.

Re: Kabu,
Up there, hibernation is the thing... sleeping until spring returns seems like such a good idea!

Re: RPresta,
It has to do with being on the edge where the mountains meet the plains, I guess. Did you visit the Garden of the Gods while you were here?

Re: Pat,
Our temps here go up and down like a yoyo! By the end of the week, it will probably be kindly and warmish again.

Re:
There's no light in the light fixture, though I have thought of putting a very low watt bulb in, with these cold, cold nights. Not for the eggs, there are no eggs, they are just fooling around. Of course, that's what generally leads to eggs.

I thought this one (P1030555) had an extra long beak until I checked it out more closely. Not quite sure why the words changed color on me. LOL

Yes, I remember that Colorado Springs‘ weather can change several times a day. I was there for a graduation weekend years ago. It was all very pretty.

Your weather sounds a lot like what's happenin' here, but colder.
Nothing like freezing drizzle to send me looking for wool socks and hot chocolate. It is a hopeful sign, maybe part of the days' lengthening this time of year, that the doves are feeling the St. Valentine's vibes...
