Yes he lugged some bags of manure this morning and was sawing up wood. He says it does not make any difference. Better than moping around I suppose.

Pat I think he was not keen as they were former workmates and he did not want to hear the same stories that he related to me when he was a milkman. I don't think the Angel wanted a date Pat , just curiosity , they are like that.

My Father used to say nouse growing old if you don't get artful. Old meant drawing the pesion at 65. Not many made it.

Not listening to others for one's good, I think is a matter of habit. Plus, If he doesn't feel like taking a pint a beer, and weak in the body he must take rest. But that is not in man.

stories at the local, that's not good. Judging by your description of the hard work and heavy lifting, it could be a pulled muscle... (looka me, pretending medical knowledge) It never occurred to me that an angel would want to date.

he isn't ging to change and it might very well be reflux at his age. I ge awful pain that runs up to my ears it is so bad. it is reflux. not heart and am on medication for it which doesn't help a lot. If i don't eat bread products it is better.

I would imagine that no matter how much you worry about him, or how much advice you send his way, that he is going to do what he is going to do. Men are that way. I do hope the pain goes away and that he will be all right.
