I wish we knew who she was. The loss facitated beautiful poetry. They are haunting poems and quite emotive. If not a daughter, I am stymied. Is there any chance the three years is symbolic of a relatkinship that lasted only that long? Thank you again, for spurring on my imagination and for this intriguing post.

I suppose anib there is such a depth of emotion in the very awareness of fading into the end of all ones ambitions and emotions. Deeper we sleep and it is forever.'
We can imagine the poet coming to terms with life and love and presumably the end.
A powerful force to stimulate the power of expression. Thank you for your expressive view.

Strange fits of passion, toward a woman, can get a man into trouble in many different ways! I try to avoid them, or stamp them out quickly when they flare up... lest they be whipped up into a hot fire that is sure to burn me!
