Re: Dear C C
I too will pass through these stages, for that matter, one day or the other, everyone will. In my case, I hope I'll not be frightened. As long as there is strength in the bones, no matter however old, one plans for the future, imho...

Re: Hello Corbin
To be able to tell in poetry what one will one day pass through is quite realistic and one that matches to everyone's experience, is to be universal. Thank you dear C.

Well it is a funny thing about age, for me anyway, I still plan for the future perhaps when one stops looking forward Bingo.`

Re: Aba Brother
Oh I love it sis when you say that you treasure reading this post. Actually, it took me quite an effort to present this in a cogent manner.

Aba Brother
Oh, dear Aba, how I do treasure reading this post, and the parts of the poem. I just loved reading it, ruminating on the content. Thank you so. I shall think on this for quite a while.

Kabu-- you are the best helper AND friend he could ever have!!
Anib-- excellent post about youth and aging. I am reminded of a quote, can't remember from who: "Youth is wasted on the young". They are too immature and naive to truly value what they have. If we could only be re-energized when we are old, we would put our energy to much better use than we did when we were young. Cheers

we had that pleasant stage of the aged dear until Wiley became so ill and now mine has been cut short as I am adjusting to being his helper rather than best friend.
