Pat - Now they want to ban Rudolph?
I agree that political correctness is out of control. And in regard to Rudolph, they way I see it, the problem isn't with the story; it's with the ignorant adults who don't know how to help the little ones interpret the message. Coincidentally, my last poem posted here on Blogit was on the topic of political correctness.

For me Political correctness has gone crazy. I don't appreciate offensive names towards groups of people or sections of society but that is crazy about Rudolph. The song does actually celebrate difference and anyway no one has ever been able to describe normal for me properly...I don't think there is; the word should be dropped if we are talking political correct. Sheesh, I am on my soap box today. Sorry.
