I'm pretty sure he knows zip about our group - but that Joan in trying to be nice mentioned it. I believe, based on her email, he was just looking for codgers to talk about the old days. I've decided to have a little conversation with Joan and see what she thinks we actually do. Maybe will invite her to sit in.

You should have the by-line. Plus, isn't it a bit out of order for him to want it, when it's your group and your stories? Or am I wrong?

you are right. I was kinda thinking that I would dash off one of our Christmas's long ago since they are a Summer Christmas but yes I would want the by-line.
