So you have locked your doors now..... big deal. Don't you ALWAYS lock your doors? If not, you should. And now, when you are dealing with a man in the area who is "armed and dangerous", you think that locking your doors is enough? I can assure you, if that man happens to come to your house, and wants to get in, locked doors will not stop him. When you return from your happy shopping trip, you could find him in your house, with a weapon, and your next hours or days will be pure Hell. I hope that your security measures involve more than just locking your doors, when you hear about a bad guy on the news. Now, you really have me concerned about you......

I don't use enough to worry about the price these days, handy to have a big tank though.Keep the door locked wise precaution.

Ciel - Yep.
We had one incident here in SoCal last week where the guy was accused of domestic violence and was sitting in his driveway drinking (guess he wasn't allowed back inside). He then attacked a neighbor for no reason and got hauled in. That's the abridged version. Be safe.

Great gas price you got there! Do be careful though. How unsettling that must have been. Hope the person is caught now, or gone.

Being a little more than usually careful.
Gas is generally around 2.50 around here these days, a lot less than friends I know in Washington State are paying.

Safeway is still around. But they have been bought up by Albertson's, so I rarely shop there any more. But my mother used to shop Safeway when we lived in Maryland when I was 2.
Kroger is King Soopers and Marketplace, or something like that, in Colorado, and it is Fred Meyers back in Washington State.

Good choice, to fill up when gas was $1 a gallon discounted...
We used to have Kroger here, but they pulled up stakes over 20 years ago. Seems to me there was a major chain out west called Safeway. I wonder if that one is still going.
