Yes....
The process of buying and taking ownership of a gun is heavily regulated in the US. We already have lots of "gun control" laws, to keep bad guys from getting guns that way. What we cannot detect or regulate or ban is evil intent that creeps into a person's mind or soul.
I would love to just snap my fingers and make all the guns in the world disappear, for a year or two, just to make a point. Would it stop crime and murder and war? Of course not, the criminals and murderers would just use other weapons. The nations at war would go back to swords, spears, bow and arrow. They would have to resort more to bombs, chemical weapons, biological weapons, etc. That is enough here (light bulb on)..... I need to do a post about this
