I used to love to write letters...but it required a lot of phone calls because very few could read my handwriting......

It's the first thing I open when I get one. I am excited and happy. you're right. most people are used to emails. I think it's more the speed of delivery.

I do not hand write letters any longer. My hand has gotten a bit shakey and my handwriting is pretty bad. But, my Baltimore Sis writes real letters on beautiful stationary and send cute funny notes on unusual note cards and sends really beautiful cards for special hollidays and special occasions. I love that about her. She works with computer at her job continuously. I think she enjoys getting personal with family and friends.

Letters that are hand-written are nice to receive, even as a note. Every so often I will receive one, and it's a pleasant experience.
