I hate to rain on your parade.....but first, the Senate is the Senior body of the Federal Legislature.....
Nancy Pelosi, if she stays sober, might be able to accomplish some things.
But you have to understand that to pass anything over a Presidential Veto, you must get 2/3 of the House to vote to override.....You do not have a 2/3's margin. So a Presidential veto will stand.
Diplomacy is going to have to be the method used.
