Try not to worry Pat. I suppose it is natural for humans to have one or two worries. All my dahlias are black this morning. I must look on the bright side I have not got to cut bucketfuls or water them.

You are a better person than me dear Pat. Everytime I tell myself to forget the USA problems he does something new that sets me off again. He has absolutely no empathy for anyone, is incapable of understanding any one else's view or pain, and is a greedy vindictive bully.

Re: TAPS
I'm sorry it brings pain to you - My point (perhaps not very well told) is that I've learned to let go of the blame and hostility now that I realize that won't solve anything - doing what I know is good for myself and others, keeping the drama to a minimum, and keeping my expectations reasonable might ease things. I have hope that a more involved electorate can remedy things now and in 2020.

This post brings pain to my heart. How can it be that this is so? How do we fix it? Is it fixable?

These politically toxic times have put a big dampening on things. I'm hoping things return to normal soon and fast.
