I know it hardly seems fair it drizzled all day here and just wetted the ground. I think we are in a valley and the rain hits the high ground first. Not that we want such heavy downpours. Keep in the dry.

To the west of St. Louis and our metro area suburb in Illinois, there were

flash flood warnings yesterday, but we were blessed with only a few showers, not the quarter-sized hail & high winds. It seems more unusual to have mild ordinary rain these days - extreme weather patterns are the rule. Good thing you could keep your powder dry...
