Absolutely I do it every day.....I have a shady lane right out my side door...It's for real only traffic those who live on it.......(but I at least I am 5.5 miles from a Krogers store....)

I've done a million walks at a nearby trail. It never gets old for me. I once went canoing and white water rafting on a school field trip. Talk about exhilarating.
