Oh, how very traumatic for you. That was a terrible thing to shoot a dog. Just awful.

Jeepers had himself a lot of fun with the hens...I don't believe I could shoot a dog unless it was rabid, but I guess when it comes to putting food on the table, food is going to win.

I remember the time that dogs ran away and did not come back. Of course there were Smallholders all around and chickens ran freely. Funny one does not see many grubby little children any longer. I did see one once scrunching snails.
