There were many years I tried to grow beautiful tomatoes and the squirrels ruined practically all of them no matter what I did. Now there are no food gardens here and the flowers are cared for by someone else.

They bury the nuts. I don't have a garden, so there is nothing for them to consume there.

They usually bury the walnuts at the base of the tree, not very inventive perhaps.
