I must say that although i have tasted and enjoyed far more of life than my parents ever expected that I would, I believe that I have managed to stay true to myself and the ideals that were instilled into me as a child and a girl and a young woman.

My parents helped me toward setting my ideals long, long ago when I was young, and at the time, I didn't even realize that they were doing that. But it has stuck with me through the years and been expounded upon by growth and continuous learning. I was one of the fortunate one to have the parents that I did.
