Forgive me, but I did so love (for a moment) that second to the last line. It's the Italian in me... But then my civilized self said, No, some things we just have to let go. But I do want to know what you did next.

Revenge is sweet, but a gentleman`should be above that kind of thing.

Now I will tell you a little story. A few weeks ago I went into a Bank, I'll admit I was not very pleased with what was happening. Any way I had to wait quite a long time, no one explained that I should have made an appointment. I had to deal eventually with a woman who I suspect had told her colleague that I was grumpy because I said I had been waiting  nearly an  hour and she said you could not have been we have only been open 45 minutes. So I said 'Well it feels like an hour.Grudgingly she pushed me onto another woman. I said ' I know you can get a reply from your Scottish Bank but I cannot understand the dialect.'You think we can?' she replied coldly. Anyway she did get through, but it did not solve the problem. I felt really mad, but I thought No,

I went into a shop nearby and bought a £10 box of chocolates, returned and handed it to the woman who had phone Scotland .She was delighted, I waved to the other one on my way out. She waved automatically and the tried not to scowl, I wondered what she thought when her college revealed the chocolates
