I agree that not talking about it makes it feel more genuine - doing for others isn't done for thanks or praise. We've all been helped at times and paying it forward is part of being an evolved person.

it takes a village...sounds fabulous to me and the thing is that mostly none of these things make the news. it is non news to be kind and helpful and actually myself I make a point of NOT talking about what I do for neighbors and those in need.

Gosh! This is something. I was just hearing those words echo in my mind this morning about another project I'm working on. Great post. I like to think it's human nature, perhaps just nature, to help each other.
