Re: RP

Actually I never really thought about it RP, only when I received two hearing aids for the same ear. AS it takes a month to see a doctor, it is best to join the system and take what is offered. Thank you.

Re: Pat

Fortunately the sound has gone unless i think of it. Lucky it was only one ear. I guess we all prefer to live with the devil we know.

Re: DunThat

Yes I am still glad I put that big fish back in the Brook, and didn't go with the girl who asked me to take her to the fair.

Re: Taps

I think it is a normal mode. My bother says he has an Oxford accent and yet he very often mumbles to me, we both can't be wrong.

Okay friend, I'm not asking.
No tinitis here.....yet...
but Ribcage accuses me of being hard of hearing
and needing hearing aids when he is the only one
I have trouble hearing.  He mumbles so
and never speaks up unless
I confront him about it.
That's the way it goes for an old lady.

I've often wondered if there were time machines, whether I would go forward or backward.  I've come to the conclusion that it would be backwards, as long as I could correct the numerous cock ups I've made.  Have fun.

I find that things were easier when I was younger. I say that as someone who is 33 and am thinking back to the 90s.

I've had tinnitis for many years, it sometimes comes and goes.

I used to operate a printing press. These days, even with the hearing aids to help pick up conversation and the TV sound tracks, there are times there's that 'itis' buzzing in the background. It would be so nice to have some small surgery that would get rid of it, even though I really hate hospitals, procedures, anesthetics, etc. Wishing you good luck and a solid improvement...

I hope your health is okay with your ear. That is unsettling but it's good you are getting checked out. I thought your poem was sweet, and it's nice to think about going back in time. Especially if we know now what we didn't kow then.
