Re: Pat
Well most things we like appear to be bad for us,so perhaps we shall benefit eventually.
I expect water tastes delicious to a camel.

Re: RP
Yes RP I suppose one is paying for service and rates etc. It still seems a hard way to get that return.

I like fishing a lot. It's been a while since I have done it - 11 years.
Love brings with it a lot of hope. Sometimes, the hope can turn to despair.

To make it even worse...many tourist locations have established beverage taxes in addition to the regular sales tax. Pigeon Forge, TN now has a 17% tax on mixed drinks and beers on top of the regular sales tax........

It always amazes me at the cost of adult beverages by the glass in a restaurant. You your poem was quite a good read. We all deserve to be cared about. Lovely.

Sometimes these days I am aghast at the cost of little things like a
glass of wine, which costs more than the whole bottle used to. Of course the hourly wages have not jumped up to match. I suppose there's something to be said for savoing the little we can have and being thankful we don't go to excess...
