To be made to feel unnecessary is a terrible blow to anyone's ego. To find it necessary to come back and beg for help from one you made feel unnecessary is also a blow to the ego. Hopefully things will get back to a pleasing and happy situation for the good of all who love to participate in that place.

This makes me feel the best I have felt all day.
I have been feeling like autumn leaves falling on the front deck, and swept away; not needed now that we are old wrinkled and Done!
Let them know how it was for you, but do what suits you. At least keep that wonderful writing group on track.

Perhaps they will think twice, about heading other advice.
