This post captured exactly how I feel about the ads. I loved the part about once elections are over, at least the ads cease for a while.

It does seem you endure plenty of mind bending . I suppose it might be better to pick winners with a pin, my Old Grampy did it with horses, they did win sometimes.

great post...ah how I love living in a Commonwealth Country. here and Australia 6 weeks of election adds is all we can endure, before any election takes place. it isn't that we are not politically minded but as you show here, there is only so much Bullshit that a person can swallow all day and night.

In Maryland, we have our primaries in June. Typically, political ads would then pick up again after Labor Day. Now we are getting inundated with them. Throw in social media and television, it can become overwhelming.
So many lies and not enough time to pick holes in them.
