When I'm busy about my daily business, I definitely see myself as 37 or so and without really thinking wonder why I'm getting tired so quickly. Then when I pass in front of a mirror, it is that same old shock I get every single time and I know why I don't get much done.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. When my third Grandson was born it had been a long and extremely painful labor for his Mum and eventually he was born by cesarean section. After too many hours jammed in the birth cabal his little face was screwed into the ugliest baby face that I had ever seen but he was also the most beautiful. We loved him just as much as possible that first day as what he is today when he is a handsome 20 year old 6ft 5 inches tall.

Pat
Such a good write. Sometime I see the ghost of Christmas Future; and it's a combo of my mom and my dad, depending on the angles of a mirror cracked.

Yes Pat and one always feels a bit rough at 38. At 50 youv'e had it. 70 Well the old folk used to pass on. 80 Well one looks around and wonders how you made it the only problem is now there is a long way to go even if one has a slow puncture. I bet I will make 90 before you do.
