I remember when comments led to conversations, too, that grew and developed the thoughts beyond the original post. I wonder if we are just too busy in life outside Blogit or too enervated by the heat or the political news, to stay focused on such things any more.

blogit folks come and go and come back again. Some wonderful friends can no longer write...Wiley...but I find i need my friends. At present i cannot write much but I am trying to write and read most days. dear old dusty corner of the internet so this is.

Speaking of someone who once blogged here, I've been seeing
posts on Facebook by Dave Cryer - who's not running a writing program there in the UK - and posting photos of his hikes through valleys and mountains, expeditions into the countryside with his wife and lifting a beer in toast to life and poetry... He was an interesting writer here on Blogit five years or so ago... yikes, has it been that long?
