Re: Ciel
Right now I'm reading James Michener's "Alaska". It's one of his I missed way back when and I love his books. The fact that Grandson Dalton lives in the Fairbanks area and he and his wife are nature lovers prompted me to get it and read it.

What are you reading? What are your thoughts on the books, the authors?

I love that "curling up" part. You should see the way I sit in my recliner with a book.

I used to run a printing press, an offset, not the old type ones, and
occasionally when I open a book there'll be a little whiff of the scent of printer's ink. There were lots of people who told me when I volunteered at the library that the heft of the book in their hand, the ability to curl up in a cozy chair under a reading lamp was all a part of the reading experience. BTW did you know that Mark Twain was the first really famous author to use a typewriter? Or so it said on a plaque in the Mark Twain museum in Hannibal, MO.
