I seem to sleep in spurts these days and stay awake when it seems I ought to sleep. I don't really care anymore. Whatever seems to be right for me.

We've had heat index readings of 105 plus for the past few days, and humidity that stems from a dew point at 80 degrees. Tropical jungle. The wind is still, so the heat sits "on little cat feet" and simmers, not the least bit inclined to move on.

I doubt it, 'she' was in playing mode, not listening. I have to bellow to get 'her' to hear me if I want to know the time or weather or whatever.
