I'd tell 10-yr old me, "It's not you, it's them, and you will be okay."

Pat - I think it's great that you kept it light for the last session.

I can see Abdel continued his ways until the very end, but why would I think he'd change? It sounded like an interesting day. My ten year-old self probably wouldn't listen to herself older, as she didn't take advice very easily, much like the rest of the family.

I would tell the ten year old me to wait for marriage. Wait, wait, and wait. to travel and enjoy my parents who no would not be here forever... and certainly before I married anyone make sure that I had my nursing certificates; and no, life does not end at 21.

Quite interesting Pat, I suppose what one thought was ordinary now might  appear to be way out. It will always be the same no doubt. Ordinary people are usually extraordinary in some way or other.

Oh no.  You just reminded me that when I was out yesterday I left a Studs Terkel audio book that someone gave me, in Sis's car.  I was going to start listening to it while staying in today.
