That was a real interesting blog Taps, I am always surprised by the way some men can deviate from normal and apparently get away with it.

With some it is a mentality, not a lack of money. When Sis became low on dough she would go to the city (New York, Washington D.C., LA, or home to KC) get a job and save up to go again to communal living). She was highly educated and well liked and had no trouble getting jobs (large legal companies, computer companies, universities) but her heart was out in the sunny west living with others and growing her garden. She met and married a man in D.C. who was from a monied family and with a great job who went with her to northern N.M. and bought land on a mesa above Rodarte and they started their own commune. They wanted my husband, me and my sons to come be a part of it. We visited once each summer, but that was it for us.

Somehow I'd thought all the hippies and commune dwellers were
living on the lower edge of the economic spectrum. This story surprised me.

Wow! What a tale to tell! He channeled someone, didn't he, enough to fool the judge! I'll bet you were glad to get outta Dodge, er, Waynesville. Fascinating, but frustrating I imagine. Still, the scenery on the drive must have been wonderful. Thank you.
