what a beautiful poem, you are so lucky to have had that love for at least 30 years. my husband of 50 years never loved me, i was the one holding on to a dream. but after 50 years i still remember him and the good times.

Well it is honest Taps. Of course he was the world to you once. Sometimes circumstances
throw a spanner in the works and things are not the same, at least you have the nice memories and the rest could have been worse.
