Wise it is to cut ties with some people on Facebook. There is so much vitriol on social media these days.

Oh, you sure did the right thing there! That type of person never changes. I worked with someone like that. Self-aggrandizing in a subtle effort to belittle. Not nice. Good for you.

I love people with positive attitudes, friendly faces, and those who build up others in whatever way they can. I try to be that kind of person. I often fail but I keep trying.

Some unhappy people so need to share their discontent, looking for others to sympathize and pity and agree... They seem oblivious to the effect they have on others. And they count on the niceness of others, to sustain it. Comes a time to stop being nice to what is toxic to you.
