You had to gumption to get into the ring! No way would I have done that! I'm sorry she was such a bully, though. Girl boxing - you were waaay ahead of your time! Horrid thought it must have been.

Back in those days, we didn't even have tv, so I'd never even seen a boxing match. My Dad and Uncle would crouch around the Philco radio and listen to the big matches.

poor bruised tailbone of yore. Am feeling a bit of empathy for your adventurous brother. But it might have been nice of them to teach you a bit about boxing before you climbed into the ring.
