Well I always burned toast so I gave it up. Anyway it is not the same as when one had a fire in the room.

I accidentally once partially burned a folder when I was in elementary school. I had it near a burner while Mom was cooking. Thankfully, she noticed it.

Once I was boiling an artichoke and the water all boiled out and then the artichoke kept cooking and burned and - well, that was the end of the pot and the choke.
