Pat

This is particularly frustrating, even for me to read. I feel for you, and now I wonder, was there something? Probably not. Did she not understand the way you had written something? Maybe. Was it necessary for her to say something. Not really. Can you find the spot she was talking about? No. Rrrhhh!

We all have a little "object blindness" when it comes to typos. Some of us more so than others, like myself. Sticky situation, for sure! You poor dear. I'm waitin' to see your next move with her... Maybe I'll learn somethin' for when people do that to me.

I like this post.  It makes me laugh because it is so human.  It causes so many ruffled feathers.

I know Pat I sometimes read something that i have written and see a glaring error. Some of the Kindle books do not appear to have been edited closely. I suppose if one can understand what the writer means. What I hate is a medieval story with the odd reference to Charlie Chaplin.

Re: overtherainbow....

You just made me laugh out loud... I don't think she's a writer, but she'd definitely a reader. She wrote a letter to the editor because they misspelled receive in a headline last week. Got the I before the E.... :)

i have a better idea, tell her you have a friend that writes and then take her a copy of one of my blogs and ask her to read it. lmao

i love and admire you pat, your writing is interesting and witty, why don't you just ask her if you can read something she has written. of course with a sweet smile.

Editing can make a person go mad, especially when other people get involved in the process. I always hate it when I make a mental note for editing later and forget it.
