this dissolving the false self in the knowledge of the true self, is this what is called to be enlightened? how do we go about dissolving the false self and is the false self ego? and lastly how do we know when we attained the true self? it sounds to me that when we have the knowledge then we no longer struggle with the false self or do we struggle until we lose ourselves or leave this life?

I love the waves breaking to shore on a beach. I always feel close to my God when I walk a lonely beach close to those waves. To me they say immortal as is God. here before I came and will be rolling to shore long after I am gone.
