Re: Re: Re:RPresta
Well I am sorry that you choose to read this RP , so I won't give you the latest instructions on getting rid of rats. Oh! I must tell you my sister said there are rats in her back garden only three at present. Trouble is her Hubby won't try to get rid of them and they are now climbing up the bird table. Farm land round about has probably flooded and they sought higher ground. I don't like poisioning vermin, but they will have to do something or there will be worse to come.

Re: Amazing look back, and some incidents are not unlike unpleasant
Yes unbelievable really Pat, I suppose we surround ourselves with a sense of sophistication sometimes fortunately.

Re: Kabu
Folk used to collect them as antiques, stone water bottles, yes it was a bit grimy, but far worse where they tossed waste out of the bedroom window.Even 40years ago there was an earth cart drawn by a horse for the houses that were not on the sewage. Funniest thing was a chap belting home from work on a bicycle head down in he went into the round tank saved by his outstretched arms, he did not retrieve his cap as the driver of the cart said he did not usually gets caps in his buckets.

i understand every word written here for everyone of those experiences have been mine except one. No warming pan in the bed but a hot water bottle with a home made cover on it so one didn't get burned

Amazing look back, and some incidents are not unlike unpleasant
experiences of my own - the cold rim of the chamber pot, the need to keep up with the emptying chores, etc...
