What it has to do with the post was that the gun debate just happened to trigger that conversation. You're right, doesn't quite compute. I don't want to see anyone do away with the 2nd Amendment, but would like a bit more caution when it comes to giving permits, plus which it doesn't track with me that ordinary folk need military weapons.

Frankly, if someone has an urge to kill other people they are in need of close attention. I am puzzled as to how this has anything to do with this post?

A friend asked me yesterday if I understood the urge by some people to kill other people - not on a personal grudge or self-defense basis - but just as a kind of sport or prejudice of some kind against someone not them. I have no clue.
