Re: Pat,

The blanket will probably go to be Elsa's snuggy blankey... Just the right size for it! The big chenille and a large hook--size 7 in this case--makes the making go pretty fast. I have always had a problem getting the edges straight and even, had to rip out a few rows on this one to make corrections there. Spiralling hats are simpler in that way! But it was refreshing to do something else.

Re: TAPS,

The chair is probably something over a century in age, was hand-made probably in Wales. I loved the carving on it!

Temps will be mid 70s today, but the pleasantries come with a high wind warning all day.

Re: Kabu,

I'd rather have you over to tea every few days, but this will have to do!

Give my regards to Wiley! A happy birthday week to you both!

Re: CCT,

Remember, the poor little chicks are actually dinosaurs... and even doves can be quite fierce if they resent attention!

I expect the blanket will go to Elsa. She is on her feet now, and finding her inner Diva.

Sounds like a lovely day - with progress made, "cherry on top."

You got a lot done in two days, the crocheted blanket is very nice.

What a fascinating chair it is.  And I love the blanket.  Weather here seems to be just about like yours--up and down, up and down.   80 degrees today, one more tomorrow, and then days on end of cold, cold, cold.

It looks as if it will wear and wear. Poor little chicks remember they will still depend on mum and dad.
