Thankful this morning that you have those beautiful memories
and the ability to make them come to life again in your writing. Sourdough bread, hot with melting butter... ahhhh!

The beauty of travel is that one has wonderful memories to think back on when life slows down...There is a Chikadee that hops around in the tree outside my window and seems to try to lure me outside. I ain't fooled though, that little creature is ensuring that I keep feeding them for awhile yet.

You have beautiful memories of beautiful places that enjoyed visiting. And, you DO have the sourdough bread... Sounds good to me.

Re: Corbin_Dallas
No. When I was a teen my family used Route 66 a lot, and Highways 40 and 24. But by the middle 1960's on, the Interstates would take one to the general area one wanted to go and from there it was the wilds for us.

Please do not grow old Taps. If I were nearer I would cook up a potato spell to enchant you once again. I think my Lazyboy is turning into a single bed, it must be an omen .
I should start digging the garden by moonlight, but it always seems to be raining.
