I'm unsure who was quoted in this post.
When I worked at Seattle Central College one of our Anthropology profs was of Saudi origin, but he had renounced his Saudi citizenship and become a naturalized American. He said we (USA) should be wary of making alliances with them - and this was before the 9-11-2001 attack on the World Trade Center.
