Great to see you writing again. I do enjoy and learn from your posts. I too have not written anything for 2 months now. Will do so after today. Was busy with university work, and sharing responsibilities of our Dean and the HOD of our eng dept. Now having finished their curses and with exams on, I'll be free.

That is interesting, that you learned about the Pharisees in high school. That is not a normal subject in high school. What kind of school was that?
They were elitists, who tried to impose their beliefs by force. Definitely service-to-self, instead of service-to-other. They considered Jesus a threat to their little power system.

I remember learning about the Pharisees during my sophomore year of high school They were not exactly a wonderful group of people.
