snow for the day here, but that won't stop the faithful from attending St. B's tomorrow - just across the street. I hope the weather's okay for them.

yes a very special weekend holiday, easter. and you are right again, it does make me want to go home. i remember when easter was a real day of renewal, when it meant a new dress and hat and perhaps shoes to signify that renewal. everyone dressed up to celebrate the rebirth. our church was beautiful with flowers and the organ thunderous, and the church really full, every seat taken and their voices could be heard for blocks. thanks i needed to go home for a moment.
