Well we did a bit of fooling around dancing at weekend conscripts parties . Most kicking legs up and hollering which was supposed to be singing.

I did some folk-dancing in school, but was always such a slow study, it was torturous learning a new dance, and never got into public dancing. So one of my most happy moments as The Mom was watching my eldest, Anne, and her brother Charlie, dancing together at her wedding. He also got into swing dancing his first year of college.

Dancing brings back a lot of carefree memories for many. I am glad to read you had such a great time back then.

What a good post......Thanks for sharing. Watching th musical movies of that time looked like a lot of fun. My thing was "Sock Hops" in the school gyms on the basketball floors every Saturday night....I was so clumsy, the socks were slick on the polished gym floors....I had a lot of down time on my butt.......
