Well Taps if I go out on the garden I soon get plastered If I wash every day things seem to fall to pieces. I have just sent for some Bamboo shorts they were expensive but the firm is small and they did send me a trial pair of socks. I could have got another pair of over-sized trousers for the price of a pair of pants.

I hope you are not poking fun at my fashion preview. It is the latest style on the dog walk. Of course the trouble is we models have to keep slim so it is no prob just to roll em down at the top. I suppose you could do it with over-sized bloomers, I might start marketing them .

Your report of rolling the trousers at the belt made me think
of that T.S. Eliot poem, "The Love Song of Alfred J. Prufrock." I believe that's the one where there's a line that goes "I grow old, I grow old, I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.... Shall I walk along the beach, do I dare to eat a peach? "

I love it. LOL In my lifetime I have gone up and down in weight at various times and not discarded some of the clothing. So, at times at home when not expecting company I have worn some of the ill-fitting clothing in the way you describe.
