Pat, thank you.
You've brought it all to light, and how well I remember my grandmother's story. It took a lot to get the right to vote, and now, where do we go?

Sounds like a gory story from bed to dementia. Mind Pat there were some women with strong characters who ruled the house and of course the wars really liberated many women. It is horrible to think that some women had to put up with a life of extreme sex and too many children, no wonder young women had there teeth taken out as a wedding present, I suppose the reason was obvious. i mean if a woman said I want ten children ,well that's her privilege . If she does not want any, well that's her decision, hopefully the potential husband will be told.

The legal system and forensics have changed a lot in the last 100 years or so. I wonder what our legal system will be like another 100 years from now.
