I never answer unless I recognize the caller/number. Uh, except today, I got caught. Robot political call. Same area code as my daughter. I didn't look closely and thought it was her.

I do not answer for any such calls. I only answer the land line if I recognize the voice on the answering machine. I don't answer the smartphone at all. I don't like it. I prefere old fashioned stuff. I use my computer less and less. Which reminds me, I need to use my old-fashioned broom on the porch to get rid of piled up bird poop.

Well I had a call Pat it was a local phone number but strangely a foreign accent. Press 1 for an engineer your Internet has been compromised. I never answer unless it is a local Number but even that appears to be suspect now.

Reverse phone directory...
I use it now and then. It tells me if a call is definitely a robo/sales call, or is likely to be, or is not.
