Sadly family ties are not so apparent these days. There must be a reason may be it's nature telling folk to explore new territory.

I hope that Lis recovers and is able to control her Diabetes. I had a friend who was in a Diabetic Coma for 10 days and nearly died. Hope you are feeling better also.

It seems that Facebook is where people find out about family these days.  So sorry yours wasn't good news this time.

I hope she has a positive recovery....

I have type 2 and live just fine with it.  I have a neice that just doesn't care about her diabetes....does drugs and acts as if she doesn't care about living.
