i could write a book about this one, whats with the operating tables and lights, the music was morbid and i could make a comment about each outfit. a few would have been whats with the ski masks? ethnic, homeless, futuristic, depressing, multi-layered,uncomfortable and shabby were a few words that came to mind. and i guess the NY stands for new york? but these comments comes from an older woman who wears her night clothes sometimes all day.

I was in a fashion show once, the first year I worked for the
phone company in Seattle. The Bon Marche sponsored a young businesswoman's style show, and if we appeared we got to keep the nylon stockings afterward. It was 1954, hemlines were just below the knee (now that we had fabric enough to make long skirts again after the war). That year and occasionally thereafter, the big colors were pink accents with gray. I would not like carrying a replica of my own head as an accessory. Ewwwwww, yuck.

Okay, I lasted 4 minutes! But after 30 seconds I was done. A few of the patterned fabrics were okay, had they been made into something in the realm of normalcy. A babushka seemed like the nicest touch... Maybe I can dig one up. The entire show was - well, I'm out of words. And the music! Funereal.
