One never forgets their first car. I still have mine 16 years later.

Darling Taps.
you break my heart. You and Pat and Wiley. You were never supposed to get older. I have cried and thrown pillows at the wall but life has to go on I expect.

Well, your vehicle will do right for others, help someone in need,
which is just exactly what it ought to do. I hope you enjoy the company of other drivers, your son or Uber or volunteers as you do your errands and shop...

About like halfway between a cat and a dog a car holds memories.
I even think sometimes of my little tractor I should have kept it and my cars they all ought to be in the yard rusting away or in a barn accepting a gentle polish each week. How frail we are.

Staying in all warm and cozy is the ideal of an elder winter, and I think of the day it is warm enough to open the house up again, and sit by a window or on the deck in the soft spring-scented breeze... then summer mornings before the heat rises... What's to go out for when you have all that and memories of so many places and adventures?

Your donation will make someone's life so nice. Perhaps when the weather gets better you will want to get another car, or borrow one.
