Alright Claude, certainly the Southerners fought for the values that they were brought up to accept. In this way, it was the same as members brought up in a church believe that what they've been taught's right. There was a similarity in the plans of the Civil War aspirations of the Confederacy and the feuds of the Old American West. Yes, there was a battle in their hearts whether or not that a person agrees with their traditions and ideologies. In effect, people as individuals or in, joining groups fight their battles. In the 21st century, outlets and modes for our battles both within and outside must be found intellectually, academically, and communicational. Bill
